Services for youth
ages 12 to 25

The Youth Wellness Hub Windsor-Essex offers free services to youth ages 12 to 25 without a wait list or referral. This one-stop-shop model of care allows for a multitude of services all under one roof in a youth friendly space.

 

When a youth or family member enters the building, they will be greeted by a friendly face. The Intake Clerk will help guide the way to the proper services and people to ensure a smooth and low stress experience.

Youth Wellness Hubs Ontario (YWHO) is an initiative that aims to bring the right services to youth (and their families) at the right time and in the right place.

Youth Wellness Hub Windsor-Essex is one of four new YWHO sites announced in Spring 2021 and there is now a temporary site at Maryvale until a permanent site is set up.

With Canadian Mental Health Association, Windsor-Essex County Branch (CMHA-WECB) as Lead Agency for the project,  a Steering Committee comprised of mental health and addictions providers was created including representation from:

 

  • Hotel-Dieu Grace Healthcare

  • Maryvale

  • Windsor Essex Community Health Centre/Teen Health

  • The Bridge

  • United Way

Mental Health & Addiction Counselling involves one-on-one talk therapy using evidence-based treatments

PRIMARY
CARE

Nurses are able to assist youth with sexual, physical, and mental health needs. No questions are off limits.

FAMILY
NAVIGATION

Our Family Navigator is able help families with the multitude of services within the community.
